CA-C
CA-C is a copper-based wood preservative that has been used to pressure treat wood products worldwide. The first form of copper azole (CBA-A) was standardized by AWPA in 1995 followed by CA-B in 2002. CA-C was first standardized in 2009. CA-C contains a soluble copper component as the primary biocide and two triazole fungicides propiconazole and tebuconazole as co-biocides to help control attack from copper tolerant fungi. Preserve CA-C is ideal for residential, commercial and certain agricultural projects and standardized by the American Wood Protection Association for Above Ground Exposed Use, Ground Contact General Use, Fresh-water Immersion, and Salt-water Splash applications, Easy-to-paint or stain, Preserve CA-C is backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty against fungal decay and termite attack.

CCA
Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA), is a highly effective wood preservative using Copper, Chromium, and Arsenic to provide protection against rot, decay, and termite attack. At SWT, CCA is used in conjunction with our Fast-Fix process, a hot water bath that chemically bonds the preservative to wood fiber, ensuring a long product life and reduced chemical runoff. CCA is available for foundation material and certain commercial applications.

Timbersaver (Borate)
Timbersaver is an interior wood protection system used most commonly for its resistance to termites and decay in the Hawaiian and South Pacific Markets. Timbersaver has also recently gained popularity in the continental U.S. as an inexpensive option for treated sill plate. The active ingredient in Timbersaver is Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate (DOT), most commonly referred to as borate. Timbersaver is manufactured from boron, a naturally occurring, non-toxic element widely used in a variety of applications including, cleaning products, detergents, and wood treating.

D-Blaze Fire Retardant Treated Wood (FRTW)
D-Blaze Fire Retardant Treated Wood (FRTW) is suited for fire rated wall assemblies and interior applications where fire retardant construction materials are specified or required by building codes. D-Blaze treated lumber and plywood is highly effective i ncontrolling the spread of flame and the smoke development caused by fire. D-Blaze treated products show no evidence of significant progressive combustion at 30 minutes exposure to flame. In most applications, D-Blaze treated products offer a lower in-place cost tan noncombustible classified materials
