Kiln Drying Shell Dry: Kiln drying timbers to 24% moisture content and 2" material to 19% moisture content for adequate chemical penetration. Heat Treat and Stamp: Material is heated to a core temperature of 136 degrees for 30 hours, then end stamped "HT" and paper wrapped Kiln Dry after Treatment: (KDAT) Material that is Kiln dried, timbers down to 24% moisture, 2" material down to 19% moisture content after pressure treating. |
